Tie rods
I installed a new long bar between the tie rods and adjusted the toe in to where it measures about equal between the front of each front wheel and the rear of each front wheel. the question is this. the tie rod I took off on the passenger side when adjusting the large plug on the end, after setting should I be able to, grab the tie rod from the top and be able to twist it or should it be so tight I cant twist it ? I noticed the other tie rod , that I did not remove can be twisted . Im just wondering that maybe ive screwed the plug in too tight ? thanks john

Re: Tie rods
I tighten the plug enough to align the cotter pin with the plug slot evenly. That always gives me the recommended amount of spring compression. The tierods need to pivot on the balls
