Re: New Forum Member
I see it's an indented firewall, is it a widebed box as well?

Re: New Forum Member
It is an indented firewall car from late '31, but as far as I know, it is NOT a widebox bed. How can I tell if it is a widebox?

Re: New Forum Member
How to tell --- The first bed, look at the front panel that is up near the rear of the cab. It will be straight across and lower than the sides. The second bed, that same panel is arched up in the center to about level or above the sides, plus wider and many detail differences.

Re: New Forum Member
I have attached two pictures of the bed regarding the question of whether or not it has a regular or wide bed. From the earlier description, by 100IH, ours appears to be the standard bed, correct?

Re: New Forum Member
Standard (narrow) bed is correct. The wide bed has 90 degree corners where the bed bottom and sides meet, The standard bed had rounded corners there.

Re: New Forum Member
The narrow bed has 2 hinges, the wide bed has 3 hinges. Didn't mention that since there was no picture of the tailgate area.
