Default A BIG shout out to Jonathan Metherell

I want to post a GIGANTIC shout out about my one-and-only Grandson-in-Law, Jonathan Metherell, who helped me out Big Time today. Y'all already know about the 1939 Ford 60HP engine I recently acquired, and am restoring.

Well, being imminently qualified to do all things mechanical, and not the least bit afraid of getting his hands dirty, Jonathan pitched in for probably 3 hours or longer and "helped me" remove from the engine, everything but 82 years of accumulated grease and grime. But, not to worry, that's the part I really enjoy doing myself.

Everything I need to complete the project, authentically, I already have on hand, or is on the way.

A BIG thanks, again, Jonathan. Let the fun begin.

That's great and I hope he continues to enjoy helping you!
My grandson in-law came to the house the other day and for the first time saw my 30 Rdst. PU sitting in the garage. I was watching for his reaction and there wasn't one! He just walked by the truck as if every garage in America has an early 30 Rdst. PU sitting in it. Scratch him off the list of potentials for inheriting it!!!!!! He is a good kid in other ways.

My son helps me. I am a computer illiterate old man. In addition to cars he is my best computer help. He says "If it runs on gas I call Dad. If it runs on Bits Dad calls me.
