A little off topic but I have a friend who has been putting those in Model As for years and used to sell the kit. No modifications required to stock cross member. He used a truck bell housing and built clutch linkage. I don't remember an adapter plate, just a redrill IIRC. Wishbones and drive shaft/tube needed shortened. I think he sold everything you needed for around $2700. He liked the tranny from the 5.8 because they have a better overdrive ration.
