Arrow 1939 1/2 Ton Platform Bed Truck

Hi All,
I have a frame off restored 39 half ton I would like to get more info on. It has the platform stake bed which is somewhat different than the regular stake bed offered in 39. I have a ford catalog from 39 showing the different bed configurations and it shows the two types of stake beds offered in 39. I would like to find out how many of these with the platform were produced in 39. It has the 85 hp V8 flathead, Model 91-C. If anyone has info on more history or production numbers that would be a great help. I also need an appraisal if anyone can help with that.
Thanks for any help,
Don

my 39 had a platform stake bed, not sure if it was original as this truck was rescued from an estate on an apple orchard in V.T.

Your truck is absolutely perfect, were have you been all these years DWILL?

give us idea as to where you live. there have been several of these trucks featured in the V8 club magazine--one was at Charlotte national show a few years ago.

This truck started its working life in California. Was restored in California and went to a collector in Missouri. We acquired this beauty after it had been sitting for a few years in Missouri and is now residing here in Iowa near Des Moines. The restorers did a fantastic job getting it to original with the exception it is now 12 volt.

Yes, that's the truck. The story as I understand it Happycarz brought it to Missouri from California.

Nice looking truck, don't usually get to see many big ones in Iowa.
