Is there something about this dash that makes it different from a brookville dash? Or will it fit a brookville body?

Firstly, I am associated with Brookville. The dash that comes with their Roadster body is not exactly like the original in that it doesn't have the oval cutout for hot rod style. The overall shape is the same. Aside from the original, which is very hard to find unmolested (think expensive), this is the only one ever reproduced, to my knowledge. I had two originals that both needed patching of extra holes. I used one for my Roadster and sold the other to a friend who purchased a body, wanting to build an original type car, like mine (see avitar and my profile pics). I can tell you that this dash will fit the Brookville, because it's a very faithful repro and my original dash fits my Brookville just fine. Thanks for your interest.

I don't have a horse in this race....... but.....
I have the same dash in my Brookville body and the fit and look is perfect. The tunnel lines up dead nuts on.

In case this is helpful to anyone, there is a shop in Phoenix, AZ that made up the dies to punch a perfect oval into a stock Brookville roadster dash. All you need to do is get the oval trim piece. I believe they charge $125 to do it. Krylon on this site I believe knows the name of the shop that does it. So-Cal in Phoenix would know as well. The one I've seen is indistinguishable from an original. Another alternative if you want a stock looking roadster dash from a steel reproduction.
