You might want to get a hold of John Harding ([email protected]). He is about the most knowledgable guy around on the Mercury (M260) and Ford kits that were available over the parts counter back in '56. I'm pretty sure these kits used the EDB-C manifold, but so rare, I doubt he will part with one. I think he has at least two of them. One from a complete NOS M260 Kit in the original crate on EBAY this year. I think it sold for about $11K (complete kit). He may have an Edelbrock FM255 that will fit the '55 - '56 heads with the smaller intake ports. The '57 factory dual four intake (ECG-D) has larger ports that the '55 - '56 heads, but is a lot more common than the EDB-C intake. Sal Cicala
