Richard Munz is a current day collector of expensive hot rods, as is Bruce (? I think thats his name) Canepa. Canepa is most noted as a manufacturer of "aero packages" for late model high end cars and trucks, along with buying/selling exotics and specialty cars. He works with CTS-V's, Land Rovers, Escalades, and Bentleys, etc. so you won't be seeing his aero kits on the neighbor's 12 year old Celica. Only Autry I ever heard of was Gene and he rode horses.
If any of these guys owned the car I would say for sure it was in the last decade. If you are wondering if the car has any history behind it, yes it might. Just not with those guys.

Fordors, I like your last two sentences as it is spot-on! Canepa also owns a very high-end restoration shop. He and his team are very talented!!

My first Model A was once owned by Bruce and a local partner, and it was a really beat up jalopy. But that was in the late 60's. Provenance does not always indicate a good car.

Sounds like they, all 3, let one get away ! This is a beautiful 32 Duece. It's stuck on $40,000.

Canepa had one like this for sale a couple of years ago. I suppose this could be it. If they can document it, he has high standards, so it is probably a good car.

Saying 32 Deuce is redundant. It is either a 32 or a Deuce but not both at the same time.

Looking at the dash gauges, this is a new build or a refurbishment, especially w/no miles on it. JMO
Paul in CT and yes, it is nice.

You are so right my man. I'll decide which one to stick with and which one to drop as I drive mine around the block later. Probably too late to get my dad to stop saying "32 Duece". He's called it that ever since he bought it in 1957.

Maybe I'll just call mine

Daddy's Duece

That Duece made it to $55K before the auction ended but didn't meet the reserve bid.

Generally speaking you are correct. But what if you had a 42 Ford. Wouldn't it also be a "deuce"?

Looks like he still has a Duece, and if I'm seeing that picture right, the flathead engine has a set of Ardun Heads on it. If they are original run production that's a rare bird indeed!
