Default 1935 Roadster header bow

Can anyone post photos of the inside of the header bow on a 35 roadster? The position of the metal brackets and also the amount of gap between the wood and the windshield frame. Mine appears to have been modified leaving a pretty big gap. What would normally seal off that gap if it is correct? I am replacing the material so now is the time to correct it if necessary.
Thanks
Zach

Zach, Here are some photos that may help. They show the position of the header bow brackets and the sealing windlace. This windlace is held in place by a narrow piece of metal shown in the enclosed drawing.

Thank you (both) very much!! that answers my questions. My car had a piece of foam glued in there and it was falling out... once I got the material and strapping off it appears like things had been messed with when the top was put on I believe in the 60's. it may not be as far off as I thought though.

thanks!
Zach
