Default Flathead 6 finned aluminum head

If anyone with a 226 "H" series 6 is interested, there is a NOS Edmunds finned aluminum head on epay. Item #264049726367. Very pricey @ $5,000 or offer.

For $5,000, I'd use that money to ditch that 6 and buy a fully worked flat head V8. LOL!

Wow! For five grand I’d buy a blower for a V8 instead!

For 5 grand I'd look into casting my own. Might not be cheaper but...

Speaking of over priced stuff on Ebay
This has been listed for at least 2 years.
The pictures seem to show a heat warped and distorted part.

That EBAY item number must be wrong. I can't find the head by searching with the description either.

Put that head on an 'M' six (the 254 cu. in. truck version) along with the other usual goodies, and you can keep up with, or even pass, that V8!

I had an Edmonds 6cyl head that i dragged around York and Hershey, and nobody wanted it. I was asking 100 bucks and dropped that to 75. Don't know what happened to it. Might be out in the Barn somewhere. If i can find it you can have it for a grand..
