Default Where do these go?

1937 Truck, hood bumpers.

I know the triangle pieces go on the lower corners of the hood. But where do the radiused ones go?

On the cowl in the recessed areas…or?

This stuff was all missing when I got this truck. So I’m working on a puzzle.

The one on the left goes on the hood, bottom front edge. The second goes on the inner fender panel. The bottom edge of the hood butts up against it.At least on the 33-36 Fords I have had is where they went.

If you dont mind looking at a 1936 pickup hood -- this is where the triangle piece goes
And the round one goes on the outside (facing the fender) of the top of the inner fender panel.

Used that nifty little rivet tool to set them.

Ahhhh...so that's the tool for peening the rivets.

I wondered how I was supposed to mushroom the hollow part.

Where does a guy acquire the tool?

You can also purchase an inexpensive hollow rivet drive tool (one for making the doughnut mushroom on the hollow end and one for holding the head). Using these freehand is a four hand operation but works, especially when the rivet is a bit far from the edge. The link shows how it's done.
