Default Rear Brake Arms Orientation

Which is correct?
Les Andrews book shows the right brake arm but supplier shows a different picture of the right arm?
Does the arm where the rod attaches curve in towards the backing plate as per Les or away towards the center of the rear axle as Supplier lists?
Thanks.

Orientation is different in each picture.
Same lever.

Where it attaches and is pinned to the cam shaft, one side of the arm at the hole is flat the other side is slightly tapered around the hole?
To orient mine to Les Andrews book, my tapered side faces towards the backing plate?
Mine are marked with raised letters "LH" and "R" on the arms bottom.

So, to orient the Suppliers picture to Les Andrews book, they are marked incorrectly?
R s/b L and L s/b R?

Or, I have the wrong arms for an A?

They lean towards the backing plate. Also, they , when installed, point inward towards the brake cross shaft.
