Default Int gets a makeover

By the turn of the centry I decided to upgrade the Int and install a Flathead engine back into the truck. I also wanted to fix the steering, I didn't like the way the 52 front axle was riding and it was hard to steer, So I bought a 24 front axle assy from my friend George and made up a ball socket adapter for the wishbone. I also wanted to install a C4 trans to go with the 51 Nerc rear.

I tried to find a pic of the front axle and all it pieces parts. When the buggy springs have vertical the ride improves because the spring resistance is only provided by the axle movement and not the body roll. that's why a track bar is necessary. When the shackles are at an angle they prevent sway to some extent.
On the stockcar we kept them at a 45* or more, It's little things like this that can make a great difference in ride and handling.
