Hello, my name is Uli Cremer from Germany.
I am looking for my '28 Ford Tudor seals for all side windows, but only for the outside. Can anyone help or give a hint?

There are no real seals to hold out water, if that's what you want. On the inside of the glass is a metal strip with a piece of rubber, that fits against the glass to act as an anti rattler. This is located under the window frame, the painted interior trim piece.

Herr Cremer, I suggest you get a couple parts catalogs. They show the parts and sometimes how they are installed. I recommend Snyder's and Bratton's for good catalogs. They're free here, but you will probably have to pay postage to Europe. You can order them from their web sites.

No problem with your English.

Thanks for the quick help. In catalogs I have found nothing. In a '31 Tudor seals are located to the glass. For me it would only run through.

Was ist das denn für eine Dichtung beim '31 Ford?
Beim Wagen eines Freundes ist alles dicht.

Sorry.
Yes, but as I said just inside. The U-seals in the door are too wide or too thin glasses.

Long live the google translator - Old school English

What's that for a gasket on '31 Ford?
When a friend's car, everything is tight.

Ok, I already understood. The three parts of the door frame and the part under the paneling are available.

I restore years old tractors, Lanz - John Deere Lanz, etc ..
Also, I've been driving for 35 years the same Harley Davidson.
There was always a solution, although not always original.
I myself am a locksmith, and we say, and what does not fit is made to fit.
