Default Seven Years Ago Today

The date sticks in my mind for a few reasons. Not least of which is it being the day I dragged the 52 Merc out of the woods to the workshop and began bringing it back to life. Many hours and miles of fun later my only regret is that I didn't start on it at least 20 years earlier.

I appreciate the comments on my videos from all of you. It helps keep me going.. Its supposed to be our last mild day today. Maybe I will take the Merc out for a short run when I finish the oil change on the Mustang..

Just like Alan Jackson, you're gonna "cruise it up and down the road". Happy motoring from the Left Coast. We have 2 sunny days in store for the weekend, then back to the gloom.

Thats just what I did for a brief run this afternoon. The last nice day, maybe. It was warm and no wind, just the calm before the storm as my dad used to say. Here is a shot taken on the driveway showing the approaching clouds.

Any other interesting stuff hiding in the bush? Looks like a Ford Fordor on the side
of your picture.

Thanks for the enlargement Mercman.
And Randy in Ca, that is a 38 Deluxe sedan that belonged to an uncle many years ago. I dragged it home about 50 years ago thinking it would be a good parts car for the 39 I was driving at the time. Its missing a lot of parts but makes nice "yard art".
Various other makes including GMC pickups make up more of the scenery. Plus assorted retired farm machinery. The kind of stuff that most farmers are sending off to the scrap iron dealers that seem to be so popular these days. I happen to enjoy a little scrap iron scenery more than the few dollars it might be worth.

The Merc is pointed towards the clouds as if to say "Bring it on Mr. Storm!!"

Ralph, I’m subscribed to your YouTube channel and always give you a like for every video, now you just need to get that Merc. pickup into a shed or barn and get that running and driving.

Thanks, I appreciate the "likes" on the channel. I'm sure a lot of people get tired of seeing more videos and pictures of the old Merc but I never do so there will be more videos. Only a week left on the registration so not sure if I will get to town with it this year or not.
