I too would like to know where to buy the little cotter pins. I have been using small stainless safety wire...........
Any one got a box of the small cotter pins??? |

Graingers has smaller diameter brass cotter pins than Mc master
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/2UHZ4?Pid=search the old automotive cotter pin assortments usually had them --I got my supply from the assortment at in high school shop --i was the only person that knew what they were for. |

Anyone have a source for suitably tiny snap-in pins?? Can't remember the name, but shaped about like an "R" and commonly used in big sizes on trailer hitches and such. I found one or two that looked perfect in the hardware from old carburetor overhaul kits, but have never found tiny ones available in quantity.
