Default Photos for David 2748-Oli pipe install

These are the two photos I tried to get onto this discussion. When the new gasket is installed on the end of the pipe and ready to go on the pan, there is a small round recessed area inside the pipe under the gasket. The pipe inside the oil pan protrudes slightly from the pan, but is flush when the gasket is applied.
Is there a small round gasket that fills that recessed gap when it goes onto the oil pan???

You can't attach photos to a PM. You have to PM him and let him know the photos are up.

Go here on that gasket - this is the one you gave me sizes on ?? Go down about 3/4 of the page for the response by "Ted". He recommends a correctly sized o-ring.

Not really. I just wanted to see what would happen with the incorrect seal on the application.

OK, this is why I recommended beg, borrow or steal for that one gasket. It seems one has to buy a complete GASKET KIT to get it -

https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Best-...et,444528.html

It seems to me either tube gaskets set (1 or 2PC) tube design would be included in their pan gasket set. Hey, they make money and I don't.

Maybe FEL-PRO offers it separately?
