Door lock cylinder removal
1930 door lock cylinder located in the door panel, not in the handle.
How do I remove it? I do not have a key and want to bring it to the locksmith to get a key made. |

Re: Door lock cylinder removal
Look in the door jamb for a small set screw . You will have to remove it then you can pull the lock straight out .

Once you get it out, look for a key code stamped on the shaft. Your locksmith may be able to translate that to a pin pattern. If you have an original and can get a key made, go for that. The replacements from the vendors (or at least the one I got) are POS.
