Default Budd cab roof help?

Have a 31 Budd cab pickup, replaced rotten header and broken rear bow. I am having trouble installing roof panel back. I have sanded and sanded the above door wood. I have the 2 metal bows removed. I believe this has to slide on front to back, has anyone done this? Any help/thoughts? Thanks in advance

Have you posted this in the Model A forum here? You could leave this one up and do a post on the A forum as well.
