Replating Upper and Lower Plates?
After rebuilding some distributors and collecting some parts, I have some upper and lower plates where the plating just isn't there anymore. I have seen people selling replated upper plates and have wondered how they did so. I know to reuse plates the insulators have to be intact, so if those are intact, replating can be done? Theoretically, you could derivet the plate, save the insulators and put it back together after replating?
