There are going to be a lot of lost people looking for the auction on Thursday.
Doing a MapQwest for the address, brings you about 2 miles SW of Strandberg.

Bob Weber of Weber Repair is actually about 5 or 6 miles South of that map.
Many of the rural roads in that area are dead-end wagon paths with little to
No gravel on them. I'd hate to get on one of them with a trailer in tow.

Weber Repair is actually about 1 1/2 miles north of Hwy 212, very close to a little
lake.
Do a Map Qwest for "Wigdale Lake" rome township in S, Dakota, and Bob is very close.
The 1 1/2 miles north of Hwy 212 to Weber Repair has pretty good gravel on it.

I'm planning on going, if the rain gods stay away.
The sub floors are pretty good yet, and the Vicky body
looks straight and pretty solid yet.

The online bids are close to $7,000 now.
I guess the pines winterfront, in good used cond, is prolly worth over $5,000 ???

I've had 2 pines grilles. The first was in a 32 pickup I sold and I can't remember what extra I charged the buyer if he wanted the grille? But the second was partially restored and it brought 10,000 several years ago.

I just googled 'pines winter front' because I had never heard of them. Lots of pics on a Hamb for sale add. It was unrestored and price was ten grand. Couldn't tell what the mechanism does. I assume louvers that go flat?

It's a shame that all of the window garnish moldings are missing as their replacement will be a real challenge for the buyer given their uniqueness.

When we built my Vicky we made all the garnish moldings out of tudor moldings

Well, I'm glad I went last Monday and looked at the Two I was interested in.

The "on line bids" have exceeded the 12 grand I was prepared to go on the Vicky,
and the "on line bids" on the '66 Bronco have exceeded the 4 grand I would have
bid on it, so looks like I will stay home tomorrow get something done around here.

@lanny you have good taste and the 2 I was looking at and the Vicky looks good but dont like the winters grill and would get rid of that asap.

South Dakota never used salt on the rural roads in those days.
The Bronco is pretty solid yet, but looks like it was run hard and put away wet

There is a title for the Bronco, and it is definitely restorable, as most
body parts are available at a fair price.

Vicky sold for $19,500.So if the Winterfront was worth $10K the rest was cheap.

Current stable consists of 1946 1/2 ton pickup turned woodie wagon with FH V8, 1947 Tonner Pickup (red) mostly stock with exception of a cummins 6at turbo diesel, 1946 Tonner Pickup (green) with 226 cu in 6 cyl flathead, 1979 Toyota landcruiser wagon, completely encased in 1947 Ford Jailbar sheet metal.
