Blue moonstruck,

I don't but I wish I did. Beautiful country and not crowded. Downside is the cold and rain. I had a friend in HS that lived in Astoria. His mom had rheumatoid arthritis so they had to move to sunny dry So. Cal. because of the fog and dampness.

Well you are in Tillamook County, home of the annual Pig & Ford Race:

There was a guy somewhere around Tillamook Bay near you that used to post on here with questions about a Model A truck he was restoring but I haven't seen him post anything for a few years.

There was a guy on old fordbarn and the new FB for short time whose username was "coosbaylumber" have not seen him post for long time.

Not sure if user name was all one word or not... he is not listed in the user name file anymore under all one name.

Do not remember his first name anymore...

As I recall, Coos Bay Lumber had only a fleeting connection with the Oregon coast. He actually lived in Glendale, Arizona and has long since departed for that great head rig in the sky.

my son has a cabin we use on Long Beach Washington. you need to check out the End of the World car show on the Long beach peninsula in Sept. Last years show was over 1000 cars with Model As well represented. I will have my 29 coup there this year.
I don't live on the coast but only 38 miles from Lincoln City.

Welcome to the Barn. What kind of car do you have?

We just sold a house in Manzanita about two years ago. Nice town!

Yes the 4th is amazing with the 4 million people and 5 million dogs that show up for the event. After experiencing this event a couple of times, stayed away from Manzanita on the 4th.
