scammer?
Very new member "lesspendergrass01" sent me a mail to contact Gregg Son as I am looking for an oil pan. Lousy Gregg copied several pan pictures from the net to wet my appetite but always missed the correct model despite telling me he is a big Ford dealer/collector. So I guess someone wanted to screw me. Anyone know "lesspendergrass01" or Gregg Son?
Thanks, Harty |

Re: scammer?
I am a newbie to this forum so donīt really know how but if Ryan wants to look into this, I have saved all the mails I got from this "seller". Will try to forward all neccessary information.

Re: scammer?
Yes, he sent me one as well. Scammer for sure. Anytime someone with zero posts replies to a wanted ad you should be suspicious. Also notice below he did not mention the part in the reply and he wants you to contact some third party. All classic signs of a scammer.
I have someone that have this for sale in good condition you can shoot him a text if interested @ [email protected] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: scammer?
Hey Harty.....At the bottom, left of EVERY post, and even in every PM ("Private Message"), there is a BLACK RECTANGLE which is labeled as "REPORT".....( ). Just click on that REPORT button wherever it is appropriate and either Ryan or one of the moderators will see it and take action on whatever comments you leave in your "report". DD

Re: scammer?
Good point, Mr. Coopman. I had not realized the importance of the little black button for the first couple of years here. It's quite useful, not so much here, but in reporting "Spam" on the H.A.M.B., where it can get crazy some nights. No PM's emails, or anything complicated. The next time anyone sees one of these, click that button, type in "This looks like a scam" and send it off.
Quick and effective. Ever notice "Spam" rhymes with "Scam"? |

Re: scammer?
I heard from this same "lesspendergrass" on my wanted ad for a tranny cover and noticed he was a new member this month with "0" post....smells lousy.

Re: scammer?
"Damn"....."Spam" is the resultant "Scam" for "Ham" that went "Kablam". DD
