Default Engine Stand Adapter

Picked up a KRW engine stand and it has this aluminum adapter on it. It's not KRW but does anyone know what it's for ? It's stamped FOMOCO and a part number.

The prefix on it looks like T54L which would be 1954 . For sure for OHV engines.
