Default Offset generator mount studs

I am wanting to put an offset generator mount on a set of edelbrock heads that I have. I was told that I can get some type of adapter nut that I dont have to replace the head studs to put this bracket on. Does anyone know what I am needing?

Thanks

Coupling nuts are like a double-depth nut that you can use to torque down the stud and then use the remaining threads to bolt on your generator bracket. ..B.

The table of contents for Rumbleseat's great free online book links from here:

Lots of good stuff, he covers the use of couplers for this. The coupling nuts are readily available from industrial supply places like MSC industrial...I think you are unlikely to find them in most local resources. The few places that have any carry only coarse thread ones.

Saw the end off of a kingpin clamping bolt nut and it willwork fine. I used three of those to mount a oil filter housing above a set of finned heads. Those nuts were the same from28-48.
