There was something not right with the Zenith if it had that issue. A lot of use Zeniths without problems. I had stall at stop and it was an electrical issue. The carb may have any of many possible issues, such as n improperly shimmed float or excessively worn throttle plate shaft/bushings. But the Marvel is very much liked by those who run them.

So far, I'm in the camp of those who like them. The stalling/sputtering issue went away with the new Marvel carb (this time). Thanks for the heads up!
