Default '40 Ford wing vent removal

I'm trying to remove the wing vent assemblies from the door garnish moldings on my coupe. Do the wing's lower bolts have to be pressed out of the two square id bushings that sandwich the lower brackets? I've used liquid wrench with light tapping on the bolt to no avail, along with drilling out the upper hinge rivets and removing the old seal and it's two end rivets. Thanks.

Its stuck. The washers with the square holes slide off . Try alittle heat on the washers but dont heat the spring

Bob, There is no reason to remove the upper nor the lower brackets from the molding in order to remove the wing window assembly. Simply remove the lower pivot hardware - a cotter pin, slotted hex nut, a few washers and the bottom is now free. Then, remove the rivet at the upper "pivot" and the top is free.
You do have the molding removed from the door - yes???

The moldings are on a bench, and the nuts, springs and single washers are removed. I thought it would be better to remove the upper hinge from the molding before cleaning and restoration. It's the two square id washers that are very tight on the squared shafts. I'll use some heat and slowly work the shafts out of the washers. I'm going to leave the lower bracket attached.
Thanks skidmarks and Kube for the advice.
