Engine Swap Resource
I'm sneaking up on an engine swap in my 31 PU. Might even do it next week. I feel good, in general, about being able to take the old one out and put the new one in. However, I've learned from hanging out here on the Barn that there's a ton of stuff I might not be aware of. So, is there a good reference, a book perhaps? I've got Andrews red and blue books. I also have a well-used book called Model A Ford Construction Operation Repair for the Restorer, by Victor Page.
Also, suppose I want to lighten the flywheel a bit (something often recommended here). How would I go about getting that done?

As for the flywheel you need to speak to one of the engine re-builders here that do that work to be sure you get the correct advise.
