Front Bumper Assembly Order
For a 1928 roadster what order is the bumper assembled.
My backing plates are behind the frame bumper brackets. This seems odd as the curved top and bottom of the plate doesn’t fit over the bumper but sits out in the air. So I was thinking it should be 1. Outer bumper blue/chrome clamp with stud, 2. bumper, 3. backing plate, 4. the frame bracket and finally 5. the nut Please let me know the correct order. Thanks, as always from a neophyte Model A owner Last edited by flybob08; 09-10-2021 at 10:35 PM. |

Re: Front Bumper Assembly Order
Your thoughts are correct I believe - missing only a lock washer.
