I have bought all the V8 club books and I only own 32,33 and 40 cars. So much good info to fall back on when you go "I wonder......?".

Jon,

Thank you for citing Don Rogers's role beyond his own book (the '35-'36 version) and his frequent and extremely well-informed responses herein. He was a true partner to me in the creation of the '32 book and he has played a key role in bringing Mike's '40 book to completion. And then there's his role with the forthcoming '49-'51 Mercury book which likely would never see the light of day without his efforts. And those are but a fraction of his contributions to the hobby. Thanks, Don.

Ah, part of the reason it took me so long to complete this project is life getting in the way.
Things like running businesses, restoring cars and taking care of ten horses wears a fella out at times.
Among a bunch of other stuff, I spread nearly twelve tons of stone today. That got me to about 2PM. Then the real work started.
Life IS good but busy.

I truly hope you guys enjoy the book and find it useful.

As long as Don Rogers name got brought up, yes, I will add my .02¢. Don is a fairly private man, working quietly behind the scenes so until he was mentioned, I was apprehensive to do so.
Regardless, without his help, there's little doubt this book would be a year out still.
Don is a good man, always willing to help and KNOWS his craft.
I can't thank the gentleman enough. Lord knows, I WILL try, yes, I will try

Thanks to those who contributed to this new Restoration Book on the 1940 Fords. The Cover looks great.
A worthwhile addition to any Early Ford V8 Enthusiasts Library.

BRAVO on the new '40 book. Very much needed......the old '40 booklet was pretty much useless, at least for me.
