Default mounting vase bracket on 31 SW Town Sedan

Can someone tell me if there is a wood in the door post behind the driver's seat. I don't seem to get much of a bite when trying to mount the vase bracket. Thank you in advance.

Not in a slant window. It should be all steel.

The "B" pillar has a wood tack strip. I;m mounting mine on the tack strip just behind the rear quarter window

The A pillar let's call the front windshield location. The B pillar (with the light switch deluxe location) has edge uphol tacking wood strips. The C pillar has a wood vertical strip and small metal plate at the top with 2 horiz tapped holes to receive the pull bracket. If at the C pillar, need to be below that plate. Probe with an upholstery needle. Or further to the rear adjacent to the quarter window is where many install the brackets.
