Just an fyi. These darned old flatheads run pretty well even with just 65 pounds compression. !951 ford in mine was smoking till I put in a pcv valve. I would prefer more compression but away it goes down the road

Yeah, she’s running well now that I’ve fixed the fuel problem. I dare say it has more power now than when I first put it together. Wonder if it’s always been plugged a little and just continued to get worse.
