Default In the Garage: Damaged Model “A” Ford Sport Coupe From The Old Motor

Hi All

Quote from the article at The Old Motor

"Today’s feature image taken in 1933 contains a 1930 Model “A” Sport Coupe in the Granada Garage, located at 452 South Western Avenue in Wilshire Center just west of Los Angeles. Photos like this were, and still are today taken by insurance companies to document the damage sustained in an accident."

Thought you might enjoy the rest of the post from The Old Motor

Check out the top fitment, no wrinkles at the rear window curtain, not lower body color on landau bars as in some books, curved stripe at bottom of rear quarter panel and good door fit even after an accident. Thanks for posting.

Question: At what point in its life would a Model A with that amount of damage be junked instead of repaired? 1935? 1940? 1950? 1960?
