Default Order of work to paint a 34 bonnet

I've had my 34 bonnet stripped and I re-assembled it to trial fit. Do you paint bonnets assembled, complete in one piece or do you dismantle them and then paint the 4 individual panels, reassembling when complete.

I disassemble and paint I find I can get at better angles. fit all the pins before painting to be sure all fits well after primer. Don't build too much on the hinge and sand the primer thin, and between the hinge slots and tangs before painting.
