Default 1929 Numbers Matching Chassis

City: SOLD
State: SOLD
Price: SOLD

1929 Ford Model A Chassis.
ENGINE AND FRAME numbers match. A-111XXXX; Late February build.
Chassis came from a 1929 running Tudor that went onto hotrod heaven. Previous owner stated that he had driven the car. Although we had the car running the engine will need work. Chassis comes with 4-19" wire wheels without tires. (not the ones pictured). Rear frame cross member has some cracking around spring bolt hole, otherwise frame does not show any signs of modification or abuse. Front running board arms have been replaced and are bolted in. Front cross member appears to be in good condition. Upon inspection it is evident the chassis has been cleaned and painted at one time although the car's history is not available. The frame has some pitting near the #2-#3 body bolt area on top of the frame but the frame # is still visible. Frame rails are straight and not sagging at the rear motor mount like so many are. All chassis components are present. Though not pictured all engine components are included. No sheet metal, fender brackets, bumpers, radiator, etc.
The completeness of the chassis offers you a nice start to restoring the chassis or getting it going as a driver.
It is rare to find a complete chassis and motor combination with matching numbers.
Sold AS-IS, a bill of sale will be provided. Local delivery negotiable.
