Need a 30-31 cc measurement

Could anybody that has a 30-31 closed cab give me the measurement of the frame width at both the firewall and the back of the cab? I know the frame is 25 1/4" outside to outside on the front and 42 3/4" outside to outside on the rear but those measurements don't help right now...

I have to build a wooden frame buck to start putting my cab back together, I figure it'll be a good reference point to keep the cab level, true and square and save me a lot of headaches as I go as well...thanks for any help and light you can shed here

Great idea. Wescotts site has a schematic drawing of a frame.

Yes they do however there's no way of knowing what the measurements I need are unless I actually build a wooden frame according to the schematic and then start measuring for hood, radiator, etc to get the correct backset then cut it off front and back which would be a lot of work and a waste of lumber...which is why I asked if somebody would be kind enough to measure theirs...

Or is the measurements on the side the measurements for the backset? Did I miss that?

If you can give me a measurement from either the front of the cowl or back of the cowl to the back of your cab I can measured the frame for you from mine. I have the cowl placed with the front bolts in but mine is a DD so I don't know where the back of your cab would be [IMG][/IMG]

Front of the cowl to the cab back is 47 9/32"

Sorry, I was unable to get an accurate measurement at the front of the cowl as the motor/trans are in the way. I was able to get the rear measurement however at 34 3/4" out side to outside.
