Default Hershey shoes

Put a new pair of Wal-Mart $10 shoes on Tuesday morning. Friday evening this all that's left.

Now you've learned something about $10 shoes from WalMart.

Covering a big swap meet is like going on a mission and for that nothing beats a pair of Army boots for the long march.

Tues - six miles
Weds - eight miles
Thurs - ten miles
Fri - eight miles

That doesn't include when I had my cellphone in my cart attached to a solar powered charger.

I forgot my shoes at home and went to Target to get a pair. $40 and they felt great and still have a lot of tread left.

I've had those $10 sneakers. I bought them specifically for dirty greasy jobs when I didn't want to get a better pair filthy. After a few days at Hershey I'm surprised they were in that good a shape.

Yep, they're junk, but sometimes junk is all you need. Hershey is not that time.

When I was in USA 3 years ago I also bought a similar pair of shoes at Walmart.
I still have them on my feet on a daily base.
But I have to say mine were $19.99

I found that the best thing is to have 2-3 pairs of broken in shoes and rotate pairs at a minimum of daily (maybe 1/2 days). I hardly ever get sore feet any more.....tired legs, yes.

Went to Cabelas a few years ago and bought a lightweight pair of work boots. Forget the exact cost but I think they were on sale for around $60. 5 years of Hershey plus normal use at home and still going strong. Easy on the feet and legs. Less than $10 a year. Sometimes quality pays.

I wear a pair of $30 Coleman shoes I bought from K mart years and years ago for swap meets - getting a tad worn but don't hurt my feet even after walking all day. Been absolutely soaked countless times in rainstorms and a few hiking adventures as well. About lost one in a mud hole at a junkyard earlier this year but took it home and power washed it and good as new haha.

If you have $10 feet then buy $10 shoes. Just kidding as I've bought some myself though I hate to admit it......

I have been having just as good luck with cheapo shoes as with the good ones.I destroy them long before I wear them out.Years ago I bought a nice pair of work boots from Reds Shoe Barn for $159.My first day wearing them I sandblasted a couple of lowbed trailers and some truck suspension. It wasn't until I went to take them off that I saw the steel toes were exposed. The backblast from the blaster had worn the leather right off the new boots.I had used one pallet of sand,(3000 pounds) that had cost me almost exactly what I paid for the boots. Now I put duct tape on my shoes when I blast. The cheap work shoes at Home Depot and Lowes are very comfortable, and seem to last me for months.

$10 shoes would spell the end for me. I have flat feet and have to have New Balance shoes and orthotic inserts. Once they're tuned in, I'm good to go.
