New carb saga goes on. 34 coupe v8
So I changed my old worn out 94 carb to a new stromberg 97. Now I don't have enough travel in the gas pedal for wide open throttle.
The 94 ball attachment was from the botton, under the throttle plate. The 97 pulls from the top, There must be less travel? Are there different length linkage rods? Thanks Terry S |

So does anyone know if someone makes different length accelerator rods? The original was 9.5 in.
I have a made up 8 inch one but was way to short. I think I need something like 8.75 or 9 inches? Thanks Terry S |

We sell a longer adjustable rod that is an original Ford part for a truck application. It adjusts from 11.875” to 12.875”. You can also cut it down and rethread it as needed to customize the length.

Dad put a short on my car back in the 50s, but I did figure it out.
