Default Pin Holes In Model A Engine Fix

I am sick! The engine in my Model A has developed several leaking pin holes on the front of the engine approximately 1-1/2 inch below the cylinder head gasket just about center of the frontal area. I have not even touched (am afraid to further damage the metal) the area with my fingers to see how thin the metal is in the area that is leaking. I did drain the radiator and engine. What is the best method to repair the leaks? What material(s) are the best on the current market to use? My first thoughts are JB Weld or Marine Tex, there must be others. I need and do value and appreciate all of your thoughts, information and advice.

I had a really bad leak in the same area. I used a Dremel tool to open the hole up until I hit solid metal and ground all the paint off nearby surfaces. Mixed up a batch of slow JB Weld and held the mixture in with masking tape. Still driving the car 6 years later with no leaks.

We had a guy that had a bullet hole filled in with JB weld for years with no problems. Blessed be the un-pressurized block.

Try JB on the outside and wet glass inside

Thank everyone for the prompt replies. I purchased JB WELD's "Marine Epoxy" to do the repair. I cannot get back to the repairs until next Tuesday.
Question: Will this JB WELD product work as good or better than the "original JB WELD'?

I see nothing on their web site describing the difference. As a matter of fact I see the word marine under uses of the original formula. Maybe it's just marketing and they are the same?

I think what you are seeing is porosity in the casting that finally rusted through. This defect was installed by Henry! I agree with the others, you might clean up the hole with a dremel tool and then use JB Weld and forget it. Ed

I fixed a cracked head with JB Weld once, 292 Chevy 6, between number 3 and 4 cylinder if I recall right. That was back in the early 80's. Last I knew it was still running.

JB Weld is the way to go in this situation for sure. I fixed a $20,000 transfer case on a Cat loader in 1981 and it's still in daily use today.
