Default '53-54 Customline RHD steering box

As the title to this thread suggests I am working on an Australian delivered 54 Ford Customline steering box. The model in Australia is a carry over from '53 in that they still ran a flathead engine and also ran the king pin front suspension.

This steering box suits such a model. The box has "Ingersol" cast into the housing.

I have dismantled the box and inspected it . It is in good order and so simply needs a seal. All of the seals described in the MACs catalogue and Dennis Carpenters describe either a 1.0625" dia. sector shaft or a 1.25" dia. sector shaft.

My unit measures 1.125" . The seal measures in at 1.550" OD.

Can anyone comment on this seal and its availability from these suppliers?

You know the dimensions of the seal you need so do a search of seal/bearing manufacturers.

That was going to be my next move after inquiring about factory type replacements.
