Default Antenna connection

Install of windshield antenna has come to a halt…
The antenna lead won’t fit in the female end of antenna cable.
Is there a transition connector for this?

I havent hit that point yet, but in researching correct parts, it appears the aftermarket leads dont make much sense like that.
Still figuring it out as well.....

Problem solved!
The problem was with the female cable end.
I took a small uni-bit and by hand very slowly turned the bit to slightly enlarge the opening.
The antenna lead then snuggly plugged in!
