I have been told that Ford, in 1932-34,on the Blue Oval Emblem, had a special one that said ROSS on the back of it. Is this correct? Or what is the correct name?

My 1934 Ford Pickup truck has an original emblem on it, and it does not have ROSS on it. Just my two cents worth. George Maher, Fargo, North Dakota

Everyone I ever looked at were blank , or nothing on the back..

Huh, well a guy told me that the 1932 Ford grille shell emblem, some of them said Ross on the back of the emblem. He said that not many of these were made, but I have yet to see one or find one, myself, either. Plenty of the regular ones, but none that say Ross on the back or anything else for that matter. All I could come up with is this which I found on the Internet, On E Bay... 1932 Ford Grille Shell Emblem ROSS-AD SEAL INC INDOPLS. (The listing had already been closed as the item sold, so I couldn't get a look at the emblem. I will have to keep searching. If anybody runs across anything to do with this special emblem, please let me know. Thank u for ur imput.

Click on the "See Original Listing" link on eBay when you pull up the completed auction.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford used multiple suppliers for the emblem and that Ross just happened to be one of them.
