Default Running Boards

The running boards on my '30 town sedan are looking a little gray. What do ya'll put on them to made them black again.

Tire shine products will bring the color back.

They likely are getting bleached by UV. Most anything will be temporary
Buy periodic apps of tire products/ armorall etc will enhance

Marty - I use a product called "Forever Black, Bumper and Trim" on many of my cars and trucks. You can purchase it at most any auto retailer. Just be careful, and mask off what you don't want the product to cover: it is not easily cleaned off. Hope this is helpful!

Thanks guys. Years ago, when I was in high school, we mixed black oil based paint and gasoline and brushed it on our tires. Easy and cheap but not recommended now. I'll get to the auto parts store and see what I can find.
