Default 40 Lincoln Hubcaps-letter colors

After polishing my 40 Lincoln hubcaps, I want to paint the "Lincoln" and "V-12" letters. What color of red was used for "Lincoln" and were the "lines and V-12" painted black or are they red too?
Thanks

1940 Lincoln hubcaps says "Lincoln Zephyr, 1941 Lincoln hubcaps say "Lincoln V 12. Both types have only red enamel paint in the lettering.

Just a rich red enamel...not a gaudy brassy red. Same red as in the other red painted trim pieces on your car. Is you car a LC or LZ model?
