Default Finally, a pleasant evening

Temperature finally in the low 80's this evening. Cool enough to convince wife a dinner date taking the old car was a good idea. While in the restaurant I noticed a family stopped near my A. I figured they were coming in to eat and wanted a closer look at the "antique car". Turns out the mom wanted a photo with her three little stair step children sitting on the running board. Really cute little family. Amazing how much joy an old car brings to the world. It is only a couple of miles round trip to eat but plenty of waves and smiles from folks. Helps me not be a grumpy old guy

It wouldn't draw near the attention if it did not have those nice whitewalls! Wayne

My sunday drives are gauged by how many waves, thumbs ups and smiles I get from folks that pass me or those I pass. Usually get a few other cheers from the AHHOOOGA too.

I invite parents to put the kids inside for a photo. Looks on the faces, young and old, are worth everything I put into the car.

Got repaid in full last week when a fellow club member invited three of my grandkids to sit in his 1911 Cadillac for a photo op.
