1951 F1 cab mount bolts
Trying to take the cab off the frame, and the bolts at the A pillars just spin. I do not see where they are inside the cab.
Is there access to the head of the bolt somewhere? There has been some floor patches installed long ago, but where the heads exposed? |

Re: 1951 F1 cab mount bolts
They are carriage bolts that fit in square holes in the floor. Your holes are probably rusted out and rounded, allowing the bolts to turn. You can see the tops of the bolts from inside the cab.

Shoot, that is what I am worried about.
I think the floor was patched over the bolt heads Are the head exposed on t the floor, or in the cowl, or? |
