Original (?) MotoMeter gauge and cap

I am offering what I believe is an original MotoMeter radiator cap gauge with base. It is almost 50% thicker than a reproduction MotoMeter (see comparison photo), so I am led to believe it is an original. I can't tell if the thermometer still works. I couldn't get it to rise with a match flame. Both faces are still colorful and the glasses are good, unbroken or cloudy. The chrome is less than ideal on the gauge and cap, but if this is an original MotoMeter, show car people or radiator cap collectors will want this one. $65 plus $8.50 postage. USA sales only.
