Default Fuel pump stopped

I have an in-tank fuel pump in my 49 hot rod. Gas might have been in there 3 years and the fuel pump assembly was new in 2016. Gas was sort of dark when I siphoned it out. I'll bet I have to clean out the tank don't you suppose?

Do you think this might be why the fuel pump quit?

Will clean with water, Tide and then Rust 911.

That looks like quite a project. Good luck with it.

Looks like it was caused by alcohol gasoline. Had only 5 gallons in it. Bought some pure quill to put in it after it is fixed. I now have another 5 gallons of contaminated gas I don't know what to do with!

Give it to someone you don't really like?

I'm a bad gift giver.
