Good morning. My first post.
I want to install front disc brakes on my 56. Has anyone done a swap recently? Lots of older info available but many suppliers are gone. I want to stay manual and also upgrade master cyl. What to do with hard lines to tee. Wildwood? Thanks much for any advice. |

Here’s a link to one of many posts on the HAMB. You can search for more post by jimmysix, he’s had his setup for quite a while and seems happy. Long time racer who knows what good brakes should be. If you’re a member there, you can access the 53-59 Ford social group. If you’re joining, read the rules first. Ryan, who owns this site also, has much more strict rules over there. But great info. Bunch of comments on different spindles and springs too.

Man I like your 56! I used Leed company in Buffalo NY for the brake and MC on our 65 Merc. You might try them? A friend just did a 55 T-bird. The Leed system did not work for that car. He found parts from others and had to get new front rims that allowed the calipers to fit inside. I can ask him more details. Regards, Chris and Cheryl
