Default 39 Ford brake repair

I have a 39 that has ben down for several years. When I went to move it to work on it the left front had leaked and was locked up I took it off and cleaned it enough to role around as to work on it,got it running and driving OK
Now to the brakes, the left front has to be rebuilt or new cylinder which is best, also should I fix it and try to run it or should I re do all cylinders new or rebuild. The cylinders were almost new when it was setup but setting for a long time don't do any good. Thanks

My feeling is to rebuild all the wheel cylinders if possible- assuming you can get quality parts. Don't forget the master cylinder. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY when it comes to stopping.

I use dot 5 fluid and have not had brake issues.

I'm about to do my cylinders 'again', very low miles but corrosion issues like most here have. This time I will sleeve them with stainless steel, it's a little more expensive but I won't have the continuing issue of stripping down the brakes and replacing cylinders, not to mention it's getting harder to find even repro cylinders that work correctly.

As 19Fordy stated, disassemble all cylinders, wheel and master and ensure they are clean, free of rust, pits, dirt, debris, etc. You life and others ride on your brakes.
I am an advocate for dot 5 fluid myself.... whatever your preference is.
You can't be too thorough on brakes.
